CJC-1295 DAC is a long-acting growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog designed to stimulate the anterior pituitary gland to increase growth hormone secretion. In the body, GHRH is naturally released in pulses that alternate with somatostatin, a hormone responsible for inhibiting growth hormone release.

CJC-1295 + DAC is widely recognized in peptide research for its extended duration of action. The DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) component prolongs the peptide’s half-life by enabling it to bind to serum albumin, which helps protect it from rapid degradation. This stabilization is achieved through the attachment of a lysine linker to the DAC using the reactive compound maleimidopropionic acid (MPA).

Research use:

  • Sustained increases in growth hormone (GH) levels following administration
  • Dose-dependent elevations in circulating insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) over an extended period
  • Extended circulation time through albumin binding, resulting in prolonged endocrine activity compared to native GHRH
  • Increase GH secretion while preserving natural pulsatile secretion patterns rather than fully suppressing endogenous rhythm
  • Activation of the GH/IGF-1 axis with measurable systemic endocrine responses
